The hotel is home to six dedicated areas ideal for board meetings, conferences and team building incentives. For bigger events, the Park Gstaad offers the expertise of its entire team, as well as a dedicated coordinator on hand to assist from preparation through to execution.
The Park Gstaad’s unique incentives and activity offerings include rafting, igloo building, archery, ice sculpting, cheese making and private cookery courses with the hotel’s chef. In addition, sporting activities such as traditional cross-country and heli-skiing in winter or hiking and toboggan runs in summer are available.
The Eggli I and II Rooms are two large ground floor events spaces, ideal for conferences, product launches, exhibitions and gala dinners. Both offering direct access to the gardens, Eggli I (measuring 90m²) can accommodate between 20 seated or 75 for a cocktail reception; Eggli II (measuring 165m²) between 20 and 130; or combined together (255m²), between 40 and 220. On the first floor is the Montgomery Room, an elegant wood-panelled room measuring 120m² ideal for board meetings, corporate workshops, private events, and cocktail or dinner parties. The room comes complete with its own private terrace, and accommodates up to 30 people for a seated meal, or up to 80 for a standing cocktail event.
Also on the ground floor is the library, comprised of the ‘Bibliothèque’ and ‘Grand Salon’ events spaces. Flooded with natural light and furnished with warm supple leathers and natural woods, it offers direct access to the lobby and connects to the ‘Bridge’ and ‘Business’ rooms. The Lounge Bibliothèque has a flexible layout, perfect for exhibitions, product launch events or pop-up stores. Complete with a mobile bar, it can accommodate up to 50 standing in the Bibliothèque or 140 in the Grand Salon. The ‘Bridge’ and ‘Business’ Salons are smaller boardrooms, catering for board meetings and workshops. Individually, they each have a capacity of 12 seated.
In the hotel’s garden, Chalet Waldhuus is a cosy wooden chalet offering an authentic taste of rustic Swiss dishes. Chalet Waldhuus serves traditional fondues, raclettes and signature dishes with an innovative twist, such as Truffle Fondue and Air-dried meat and cheese rolls from the Saanenland. Chalet Waldhuus can also be taken over for exclusive use if desired.
The Park Gstaad offers a catering service to complement its impressive events spaces. Picnics and barbecues can be arranged on the alpine pastures on the hotel grounds; lunches in a lodge by the lake; or dinner in the Equestrian Centre. The hotel can also arrange for a private soirée in an alpine hut or a banquet in their famous Menuhin marquee. If desired, a drinks reception in the privacy of guests’ Suites can be arranged. For unforgettable private celebrations, the hotel also caters for weddings, birthday parties, magic and circus shows, orchestras, or traditional festivals.
