05 – 20 July 2024 // The Festival is famous for its exceptional heritage and legendary concerts. With its intimate ambience and renowned hospitality, it offers a unique experience for artists and public alike.
The Montreux Jazz Festival is famous for its exceptional heritage, intimate ambiance and renowned hospitality.
The Festival has year-round employees dedicated exclusively to waste management, sustainability and the environment.
The Jazz Festival has installed Eco points for the collection of PET, glass, aluminium and waste, as well as ashtrays all over the event’s site and develops a complete internal recycling centre, organised and cleaned daily.
Only reusable glasses are used in all bars and restaurants.
To encourage public transport and soft mobility, the Festival has additional trains with special fares, free travel on the main Vevey-Villeneuve bus line as well as parking facilities for bicycles.
The water of the lake undergoes a weekly quality analysis by the Festival, before, during and after the event to estimate its impact on the lake’s water quality. In addition, volunteer divers clean the Festival’s lake area at the end of the summer.
